St Truidense saw off Standard Liege 2-0 at home to move within four points of their opponents in the Jupiler League table.

Both goals came in the second half, with Ibrahima Sidibe breaking the deadlock in the 63rd minute and substitute Jonathan Wilmet striking 10 minutes from time to put the game beyond a Standard side who had six players yellow-carded.

Karel D'Haene scored the only goal of the day's other game in the 35th minute as Zulte-Waregem beat struggling Lokeren.
