Boulogne 2 Paris St Germain 5
A stunning second-half fightback lifted Paris St Germain to a victory over struggling Boulogne in tonight's Ligue 1 encounter.
Clement Chantome's 61st-minute equaliser for visiting PSG kicked off a remarkable 25-minute spell which delivered five further goals as the home side's resistance crumbled.
Guillaume Ducatel opened the scoring for second-bottom Boulogne as the hosts went in with a half-time lead, but Chantome's leveller sparked a nine-minute four-goal salvo from PSG which ended the game as a contest.
Peguy Luyindula's 63rd-minute penalty put PSG into the lead while a quickfire Mevlut Erdinc brace made it 4-1 by the 70th minute.
Johan Ramare pulled one back for the hosts but Jean-Eudes Maurice wrapped up the win for PSG four minutes from time as Antoine Kombouare's troops vaulted up to seventh in the Ligue 1 standings.
PSG started with much attacking intent, Ludovic Giuly going close twice in the opening quarter of an hour, but fell behind against the run of play after 36 minutes.
PSG defender Sylvain Armand was the guilty party as his poor clearance fell to Ovidy Karuru, whose pass presented Ducatel with space to rattle the ball home from the edge of the box.
Erding spurned an opening to pull PSG level after 51 minutes, while Damien Perrinelle could have increased the hosts' lead minutes later but saw his effort blocked by Apoula Edel, who was making his first start as understudy to the injured Gregory Coupet.
The leveller arrived after 61 minutes as Luyindula crossed to the far post for Chantome, who angled a low drive into the opposite corner.
Bakary Soumare's clumsy challenge in the area on Erding paved the way for PSG to move into the lead as Luyindula smashed the penalty home while two became three moments later as Younousse Sankhare crossed for Erding to nod home.
And Turkey forward Erding doubled his tally 20 minutes from time as he swept home coolly from close range following good work down the left by Luyindula.
Armand compounded his earlier error with eight minutes remaining by committing a foul on Jeremy Blayac which allowed Ramare to reduce the deficit from the spot, but PSG had the last laugh on 86 minutes as Maurice volleyed home Sankhare's cross to cap the fightback.
