All to play for in K-League
The K-League championship final is delicately poised after the first leg between Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma and Jeonbuk Motors ended goalless.
The result means there is all to play for in the second leg on Sunday as Jeonbuk look to lift a first domestic title in front of their own fans.
The 2006 Asian Champions League winners would have made that task much easier if they had taken one of the chances that came their way.
With Seongnam missing a number of players due to suspension, Jeonbuk took the game to their hosts.
Lee Dong-gook had the ball in the net for the 21st time this season but the referee's assistant ruled the goal out after Brazilian striker Luiz handled the ball during the build-up.
Five minutes after the break, Lee, who spent the second half of last season with Seongnam, was involved again, shooting against the post from a Choi Tae-wook cross.
Seongnam created little but will be happy to travel to Jeonju World Cup Stadium on Sunday on level terms.
"I am sorry that we were not able to score in our last home game of the season," Seongnam boss Shin tae-young said afterwards.
"We have shown that we are mentally strong and there is still a lot of football to be played."
Jeonbuk coach Choi Kang-hee added: "We were better in the second half. We made chances but were just not able to put them away.
"But 0-0 is not a bad result away from home and we will regroup and prepare for the second match."
