Jamie Harnwellsecured a 1-1 draw for Perth Glory at home to Brisbane Roar in an A-League encounter at ME Bank Stadium.

Brisbane had taken the lead against the run of play in the 52nd minute when Henrique's corner was nodded down by Josh McCloughan for Luke DeVere to prod home.

The visitors had chances to grab a second and seal the win after that but were punished 12 minutes from time when Harnwell pounced on Adriano Pellegrino's knock down to fire home.

The point means Perth remain fifth in the standings while Brisbane drop to eighth.
