Lorient 1-3 Lyon

Lorient 1-3 Lyon

Three goals in the final half hour saw Lyon come from behind to claim a Ligue 1 win at Lorient.

Pierre Ducasse's goal after 28 minutes gave Lorient a lead which they held until Lisandro Lopez levelled three minutes after the hour mark.

Sweden international Kim Kallstrom then bagged a double for Lyon to complete the turnaround.

Lorient goalkeeper Fabien Audard was called into action as early as the first minute, when he pulled off a good save as Cesar Delgado volleyed Michel Bastos' left-wing cross goalwards.

Three minutes later his opposite number, Hugo Lloris, saved Kevin Gameiro's effort but needed help from the post as Oliver Monterrubio's follow-up went wide off the upright.

Some slack defending contributed as Lyon went behind.

Arnaud Le Lan crossed from the left and Ducasse, six yards out, had time to control and despatch a shot beyond Lloris.

Lyon manager Claude Puel showed his unhappiness when he made a substitution before half-time, bringing Bafetimbi Gomis on for Miralem Pjanic.

And they could have levelled when Cesar Delgado's blocked shot rebounded to Kallstrom, who fired over.

Kallstrom came close to equalising nine minutes after the break when he crashed a free-kick against the crossbar.

Michel Bastos made a mess of a great chance after 58 minutes, firing wide when some poor Lorient defending allowed Delgado's cross to fall at his feet.

But it did not prove costly as, five minutes later, Lisandro followed in Gomis' header to level.

The Lyon substitute appeared to be offside when Delgado set him up, but the goal was allowed to stand.

Kallstrom put his side in the lead after 71 minutes, latching onto Morgan Amalfitano's misplaced header to finish from 20 yards.

And he completed the scoring two minutes from time, catching Audard completely off guard with a strike from the left.
