Qatar side Al Ahli have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Fabiano Eller from Internacional.

The 32-year-old central defender will make the switch from Copa Libertadores champions Internacional as the team's fourth foreign player alongside Oman's Mohamad Rabia, Olivier Tia of Ivory Coast and Ghanian striker Agyemang Opoku.

The much-travelled Eller began his career with Linhares before spending five years at Vasco de Gama. He moved to Palmeiras in 2002 and also spent a year at Flamengo before he was loaned out to Al Wakra in Qatar.

He returned to Brazil in 2005 to play for Fluminense but then joined Turkish side Trabzonspor.

After he was loaned out to Internacional in 2006, he returned to Europe where he played for Atletico Madrid before joining Santos in 2008 and then Internacional a year later.
