Petrovic singles out Soria

China have labeled Qatari striker Sebastian Soria as the key threat when both side face off in a World Cup qualifier at Al Sadd Stadium.

With Uruguayan born Quintana grabbing a brace during last week's 2-1 victory over Lebanon, China coach Vladimir Petrovic is keeping a close eye on him ahead of their encounter.

"Sebastian is the best Qatari player. We know this very well,” said Petrovic of the 24-year-old striker.

“He has won many matches for them and he is the one who has scored goals for Qatar in the last few months. We will have to mark him well.

Petrovic, however, echoed that his side have disembarked in Doha in good nick.

"We have thoroughly prepared for this clash. We have played a few friendly matches in our build-up to this match and I am happy with our overall readiness.

“I know that we are in a difficult group, and that each match has its own importance. But we will fight for every point.

"I am convinced that the football fans in Qatar will see a great match with a lot of flair. I hope the Chinese fans here turn up in large numbers to support their team," Petrovic added.
