Centurion Group to sponsor friendly
Centurion Group have confirmed as a sponsor for the friendly match between the Brazil Olympic team and Singapore.
Mr. Wong Kok Hoe, Director of Centurion Group, commented, "We want to do our part for the local sports industry. Football is a sport that is embraced and loved by many in Singapore and the region and we wanted to give our support to the promoters who have worked hard to secure a world class team to play in Singapore."
Centurion Group is a privately owned group with diversified business interests in various sectors including the property and financial industries. The Group operates in Singapore and the region. The group have also confirmed their sponsorship for the President's Golf Charity Challenge that is scheduled for tee off later in the year.
The friendly game featuring some of the biggest names is football such as Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato is scheduled for kick-off at 8pm at the National Stadium on Monday, July 28.
The trip to Singapore is part of the Brazilian team's two-stop acclimatisation camp before they head to Beijing to vie for their first Olympic gold medal. The team will arrive in Singapore tomorrow and will be staying at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel from July 23 - 28.

Organisers are expecting a sell-out crowd at the National Stadium. Tickets for the match went on sale from today at all Sistic outlets with prices starting from $60 for gallery seats while Grandstand tickets are available at $120. Two thousand tickets priced at $15 are also available for students under the age of 16 years old. Student passes must be produced at the time of purchase.
The friendly between the Brazilian Olympic football team and Singapore is organised by the Football Association of Singapore and secured by local promoters; Total Sport & Entertainment, Kawan Creative International and international promoter, Match World.
