Comment: The party is in London
espnstar.com's Kelvin Leong is excited about the number of creative players making London their new home.
Premier League fans must be drooling at the thought of the upcoming season. The transfer market has been slow compared to previous seasons but the signings that have been made, see some of the best attacking talents coming from all corners of Europe to showcase their flair and skills in England.
Three hail from Tottenham Hotspur - being a Spurs fan, of course I had to be bias - while one comes from Chelsea and the other from our nemesis, Arsenal.
Giovanni Dos Santos (Tottenham Hotspur)
The Mexican boy wonder who was supposed to set Nou Camp alight with his dazzling footwork and slalom-like runs.
With Ronaldinho, Bojan Krkic, Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto'o all above him in the pecking order at Barcelona, Giovanni never had a chance to show his potential.
Joining Spurs last month, the boy has impressed in pre-season games, forming a formidable attacking midfield with David Bentley and Luka Modric.
Look out for his dribbling skills as this kid loves to take on fullbacks and make them look silly.
Luka Modric (Tottenham Hotspur)
Touted as the new Zvonimir Boban, Modric became an instant household name when he proved just why the Lilywhites were willing to shelve out US$31.5m for his services.
A tireless runner who defends and attacks with equal zest, he has the knack to score goals coming from deep off his late rampages into the box.
Great passer of the ball with some party tricks when the occasion calls for.
David Bentley (Tottenham Hotspur)
England's next ‘David Beckham' as he was known when he broke onto the scene.
Never quite made it at Arsenal but his stay at Lancashire side, Blackburn Rovers, proved a big hit with his deadly free kicks and accurate crossing.
Bentley needed a bigger stage to show Fabio Capello and the current Spurs side was just what the doctor ordered.
Between him, Dos Santos and Modric, Spurs have potentially unearthed one of the most deadly midfield trio the Barclays Premier League has ever witnessed.
Samir Nasri (Arsenal)
When a player gets labeled as the heir apparent to the legendry Zinedane Zidane, you know he's good.
Running the show from the left wing at Marseille, Nasri showed just why the French public were so confident they had found a new jewel in the crown for the Les Bleus.
Arsene Wenger's Gunners play a fluid passing game of football and Nasri will fit right in with his deft touches and pin-point through balls for Togolese giant, Emmanuel Adebayor to feast on.
Deco (Chelsea)
Coming from Brazil, Deco decided to turn out for Portugal instead and how the Portuguese fans must be thankful for that.
Deco goes about his job in the middle, never hurried and always ready to try his luck with a through ball for the forwards to chase onto.
His free kicks will give Chelsea an additional option on top of Frank Lampard and Michael Ballack and you can be sure Didier Drogba must be purring with delight to have a player of his quality at Stamford Bridge.
So all these talented individuals plying their trade in
London, is there a need to be anywhere else if you want to witness some scintillating football?
Like I said, the party is definitely in London.
