Rovers lodge Joaquin bid
Blackburn are reported to have made a US$19 million bid for Valencia's out-of-favour Spanish winger Joaquin.
Joaquin has been strongly linked with a move to Ewood Park as Rovers boss Paul Ince searches for a replacement for David Bentley.
Monday's rumour mill saw talk of Rovers lodging a bid in the region of US$19 million for the 27-year-old.
It is also suggested Valencia's vice-president Fernando Gomez would meet Joaquin's agent on Tuesday to discuss the offer from Blackburn.
However, Joaquin's team-mate Alexis believes that the former Real Betis star, who was left out of Spain's Euro 2008 squad, is not looking to leave the Mestalla.
"In the dressing room, Joaquin is always the same - cheerful," Alexis told AS.
"I don't think we have any problems.
"He doesn't want to go, he's very happy in Valencia and I wouldn't want him to leave because to have a person like him in the dressing room is a joy.
"I get along very well with him."
