Giovani sets sights on top-four spot

Giovani dos Santos hopes Tottenham have now got their season up and running after the draw against Chelsea last weekend.

Spurs were beaten in their opening two Premier League fixtures but claimed an encouraging point against their London rivals at Stamford Bridge.

Forward Giovani, signed from Barcelona in the summer, now hopes they can build on that when they return to action after the international break.

"We have to try and get one of those top four spots, because we want to play Champions League football," the Mexico star told FourFourTwo magazine.

"I joined a club that is working for this and I know we have the qualities to challenge the top four.

"I missed out on winning a trophy last season so I'd really like to win something this season with my new team."
