Scolari questions Robinho move
Luiz Felipe Scolari believes Robinho may have been badly influenced in his decision to join Manchester City.
Chelsea were tracking Robinho for much of the summer and the Brazilian stated that he was keen to secure a switch to Stamford Bridge.
He eventually joined City from Real Madrid for a British record transfer fee but Scolari insists he was not disappointed as 'it is part of the profession'.
The Chelsea boss feels that those close to Robinho may have convinced him to choose the better financial offer from City.
"It's a situation that the coach or the club cannot control," Scolari told Globo TV.
"People around the athletes, sometimes for their own benefit, end up indicating a path that maybe is not the best for them."
Scolari has been impressed by the standard of football in the Premier League and believes it is the strongest domestic competition in the world.
The Brazilian said: "It is the best championship in the world right now, in all aspects. All clubs are very well organised."
Scolari added that he was happy with how he had adapted to a new way of life in England.
"All fears I had before are gone," he said.
