Premier League Stats Report
The Premier League stats report gives you the low-down of the crucial facts and figures for this weekend’s action.
Can Ron set a new best home scoring run?
Manchester United vs Hull City
The Lowdown: Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in his last eight consecutive home Premier League matches for the club. If he scores against Hull on Saturday, it will be the best home scoring run by a player in the Premier League in 12 years, since Alan Shearer scored in 16 consecutive home Premier League matches for Newcastle from Aug 1996 to May 1997.
Alternative View: Geovanni has scored in each of his last three away Premier League matches. No Premier League player has scored in four consecutive away Premier League matches for two years, since Robbie Keane scored in four successive away matches for Tottenham from March to April 2006.
The Numbers:
Players scoring in most consecutive home Premier League matches played since 1996
| Matches | Player | Club | From | Until |
| 16 | Alan Shearer | Newcastle Utd | 21-Aug-96 | 11-May-97 |

| 7 | Thierry Henry | Arsenal | 15-May-04 | 30-Oct-04 |
| 6 | Didier Drogba | Chelsea | 13-Dec-06 | 10-Feb-07 |
Note: There are ten players who have scored in six consecutive matches played, Drogba was the last.
Who is better? Rafa Benitez or Harry Redknapp?
Tottenham vs Liverpool
The Lowdown: Believe it or not, Liverpool have a better record at Tottenham than any other London ground since Rafael Benitez took charge of the club - winning eight points from four matches, two more than at any other side from the capital.
The Reds are also unbeaten in their last nine away Premier League matches - their best ever run in the Premier League and best since going 10 without defeat from Oct 1991 to Feb 1992.
Alternative View: Harry Redknapp has an excellent home Premier League record against Liverpool - winning seven of his 12 home matches against them, and losing only twice. Tottenham are one of two PL sides that Rafael Benitez is unbeaten against as Liverpool manager having faced them in each of his five seasons in charge - the other is Aston Villa.
