Chelsea Carv-ing themselves open

Defender Ricardo Carvalho has become the latest Chelsea star to have a bust-up with manager Luis Felipe Scolari.

The Sun reported that Carvalho confronted Scolari regarding Big Phil's decision to switch from man-marking to zonal marking at set-pieces.

United scored their first goal last weekend against them with replays showing the Chelsea players unsure of their positioning.

Scolari went on to drop Carvalho for their midweek FA Cup tie against Southend.

Carvalho's outburst follows news that John Terry and Frank Lampard voiced out their doubts about Scolari's training regime while Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba both had bust-ups with the coach in training.

The Blues have played a man-for-man marking system for the past five years and a sudden change in tactics has thrown the entire team into disarray.

If Chelsea fail to beat lowly Stoke this weekend, the Brazilian boss could well be on his way out of the Bridge.
