Shevchenko could be Blue again
Andriy Shevchenko could be heading back to Chelsea after his one-year loan spell at AC Milan ends.
And he is not the least pleased with the outcome, according to the Daily Star.
While he was full of optimism after returning to his former hunting ground Milan, he has not been used as regularly as he hoped under Carlo Ancelotti.
"He's due back at Chelsea," a spokesman claimed to the Daily Star. "He has been told they want to see what happens up until Christmas."
The spokesperson concluded by remarking, "He's not optimistic, considering the amount of playing time he was given at Milan."
Shevchenko, despite his former idol status at San Siro, has featured only intermittently in the past campaign, when Carlo Ancelotti was at the helm.
Ancelotti has since departed, though. But, in a cruel twist of fate for Shevchenko, the Italian is now manager at Chelsea, Shevchenko's parent club.
Shevchenko scored just two goals in 26 appearances in all competitions this season.
