West Ham are to open their 2009-10 Premier League campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Wolves on 15th August.

Gianfranco Zola takes his side to Molineux on the opening day for a clash with Mick McCarthy's newboys.

The early visitors to Upton Park are Aston Villa on 18th August while the first London derby of the season follows the weekend after when Spurs make the short journey to east London. The Hammers' August games conclude with a trip to Blackburn.

Zola's men face two London derbies in October, entertaining Fulham on the third and Arsenal on the 24th. It is December before the Irons lock horns with Carlo Ancelotti's Chelsea who visit on the 19th.

Champions Manchester United arrive at Upton Park on 5th December with a hectic festive programme seeing the Hammers entertain Portsmouth on Boxing Day followed by a trip across London to take on Spurs two days later.

The season is due to conclude in early May with a trip to Fulham followed by the visit of Manchester City's star-studded squad on the ninth.
