Big Sam to wait on Di Santo
Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce is willing to wait for Chelsea to finalise their squad before launching a bid to sign Franco Di Santo.
According to skysports.com, Blackburn are looking to sign new strikers after the departures of Roque Santa Cruz and Matt Derbyshire.Chelsea's promising striker Di Santo is the latest name linked to the Ewood Park outfit but Allardyce has to wait for Carlo Ancelotti to get settled in.
Di Santo is set to travel to USA with the rest of the Blues squad for their pre-season tour."I don't know what the situation is with Di Santo so I'm not particularly clear on what's been talked about there," Allardyce told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"I would have thought Ancelotti would be looking at all of his players first before making a decision on whether he's letting anyone go.
"But obviously we would be interested in anyone from Chelsea if they were the right price for us."
