Chelsea are preparing one final assault to land Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery.

The Daily Mail reported that Roman Abramovich is prepared to pay somewhere in the region of 46 million euros for the French star but Bayern are holding out for 81 million euros.

If their bid is rejected by the Bundesliga outfit, Carlo Ancelotti will turn his attention to Real Madrid's Dutch midfielder, Wesley Sneijder instead.

A bid of around 19 million euros is said to be enough to prize the talented playmaker away from the Spanish giants.
