Thailand 1-1 Liverpool

Thailand 1-1 Liverpool

A battling second half performance from Thailand earned them a draw against English giants Liverpool in Bangkok.

Full-time: Thailand 1-1 Liverpool

92 - Teeratep is booked for a late challenge on Mascherano.

88 - Mascherano is booked after a rash challenge on Datsakorn.

83 - Subs: (Thailand) Teeratep on for Teerasil

81 - Torres plays a great ball through to put Voronin one-on-one with the keeper, but the Ukrainian calmly slots it... wide.

80 - Subs: (Liverpool) Riera on for Babel, Torres on for Pacheco

78 - Subs: (Thailand) Pitchapong on for Narongchai, Lange on for Nataporn (Liverpool) Reina on for Gulacsi

76 - Dossena finds an opening but can only fire a weak shot directly at the Thai keeper.

71 - GOAL! After a beautiful one-two which splits the Liverpool defence, half-time substitute Sutee slots past Gulacsi and levels the score for the Thais!

69: Nattapong has perhaps the best chance of the game for Thailand, but fails to find the target with his weaker right foot.

65 - Sub: (Thailand) Kiataprawut comes off and is replaced by Panupong

62 - Javier Mascherano fires in a long range rising shot, but Thai keeper Kosin is equal to it.

56 - Sub: (Liverpool) El Zhar also comes off injured and is replaced by Alvaro Arbeloa.

54 - Sub: (Liverpool) Martin Skrtel comes off holding his hamstring and is replaced by Andreas Dossena.

Subs: Liverpool have made sweeping changes with the second half line-up consisting of Gulacsi, Johnson, San Jose, Skrtel, El Zhar, Pacheco, Voronin, Mascherano, Kelly, Spearing and Babel.

Half time: After a pacy start which saw Liverpool grab the lead, the game slowed down significantly, with both sides content to take their time in possession. There is certainly room for improvement for both sides, but neither manager will feel too disappointed with their side's first half performance.

36 - A free kick in a good position for the Thais, but Narongchai can't hit the target.

30 - The ball falls to Kuyt just outside the Thailand penalty area, but he drags his shot wide.

20 - A brilliant cross-field ball from Lucas finds Babel in the Thai box, but the Dutchman shanks his volley wide.

6 - GOAL! A terrific long ball from Carragher is well controlled by Ryan Babel, who takes one touch before slotting home past the Thai keeper.

2 - Liverpool keeper Diego Cavalieri almost gifts Thailand an opening goal by fluffing a clearance straight to Datsakorn, but the Thai captain fires wide.

Kick off

The two captains have engaged in the pre-match pleasantries and we are almost ready to get under way in Bangkok.

Kick off has been slightly delayed due to the incredible number of fans still flooding into the stadium.

A rousing recital of You'll Never Walk Alone kicks off the proceedings and brings the crowd to fever pitch as the LIverpool players take to the pitch for their warm-up.
