English giants Liverpool have thumped Singapore 5-0 at the Kallang stadium.

Full-time -  A 5-0 win will send Liverpool and their fans home happy. A good run out for the Premier League side who realy hit their stride in the seocnd half. Singapore started brightly but faded badly as the game wore on.

85 mins - The Singapore goal is under siege - it just escapes unscathed this time though.

83 mins - GOAL!!! Too easy again for Liverpool. Nemeth heads home from a Kuyt cross.

80 mins - GOAL!!! Liverpool go four up through, who else, Torres. A tap in after more good work from Kuyt.

79 mins - Dossena forces a smart stop at his near post from Lionel Lewis who is now on in goal in place of Hassan.

75 mins - Singapore look devoid of ideas - pity after such a bright start. Xabi Alonso makes an appearance as does Pepe Reina and Andre Dossena.

73 mins -GOAL!!! Substitute Krisztian Nemeth taps the ball home from close range after another sub, Dirk Kuyt, had rampaged down the right. Too easy for Liverpool.3-0 to the Anfield outfit.

70 mins - Esah lands a dipping free-kick on the roof of Liverpool's goal - not much danger to the clean sheet though.

67 mins - Liverpool's early second half fluidity seems to be lacking now.They still look dangerous though. Singapore are relying on counter attacks.

67 mins - Jantan goes off for Singapore - on comes Shaiful Esah.

65 mins - Ridhuan Muhamed replaces Shi Jiayi for the hosts.

61 mins - Fernando Torres is on as sub - much to the crowd's delight!

56 mins - Forward Qui Li enters the fray to replace Ishak. Singapore need a goal. 

54 mins - GOAl!!! Riera bags Liverpool's second after a good cross-field pass by Mascherano. No chance for Hassan in Singapore's goal. 2-0 to the visitors.

52 mins - Indra Sahdan Daud is on for Singapore's Noh Alam Shah. Indra takes the captain's armband from the departing Noh Alam.

We are underway again at Kallang.Albert Riera has replaced Babel, Emiliano Insua for Mikel Dominguez and Peter Gulacsi for CavalieriAgu Casmir replaces Duric for Singapore.

Half-time at the Kallang and Liverpool don't deserve to be leading. More to come in the second half.

45 mins - GOAL!!! Voronin scores for Liverpool thanks to a drive from outside the box. Mustafic's botched clearance gave him the chance.

40 mins - Agger cuts in from the left only to unleash a wild shot that troubles only the corner flag. Plenty of substitutions expected in the second half for Liverpool.

37 mins - Noh Rahman yellow carded for a foul on Babel - blood and thunder at the Kallang!

34 mins - Ngog shoots but Baihakki blocks his effort, again at the expense of a corner.

30 mins - Singapore's turn to threaten but Noh Rahman's cross eludes the head of Duric - should have done better perhaps.

29 mins - Baihakki's turn to foil Liverpool, this time robbing Benayoun at the expense of a corner.

26 mins - Ngog  is denied by a good stop by Hassan after being put through on goal. The Lions keeper is impressing.

22 mins - Ishak goes through on goal but under pressure his tame shot does not bother Cavalieri

22 mins - Another smart save froom Hassan as he stops Ngog's effort following a mistake byBaihakki.

20 mins - Mustafic clatters into Mascherano - the first real aggression of the game. Singapore are clearly up for this match.

15 mins - Bennett catching the eye for Singapore in central defence. Two good interceptions already.

14 mins - Voronin fires over from the edge of the box. Liverpool trying to get out of first gear at last.

11 mins - Agger tries his luck from long range, nothing doing though.

9 mins - Singapore playing some good combative football - not giving Liverpool an inch.

7mins - Ngog goes close with a header from a Benayoun cross. Decent stop by Hassan in the Singapore goal

2 mins - A cautious start by both teams

We're off, and for those of you that know the stadium, Liverpool will be attacking the North Stand in the first half.

The teams (scroll down to see them) are in - twenty minutes to go and the place is bouncing.

We will see, we will see! One hour to go.

Talking of fans, Brendon from Singapore is just one of the thousands who can't wait for the match to start: "I caught the game in Bangkok and I am really looking forward to this one. I reckon Liverpool to edge it 4-3."

There is just under two hours to kick-off and already Kallang is starting to fill up. The Liverpool fans are in good voice.
