Young pacey Theo Walcott won't be playing this afternoon against Portsmouth because of a back problem. I know that Arsene Wenger loves him a lot but I still cannot rule out a move to Manchester City. I just think it makes lots of sense, especially if VDV gets a move to the Emirates. That move has to happen very soon. It just has to. Am still also hoping that Chamakh gets his move from Bordeaux. Can't bare a season of more speculation surrounding the Moroccan.

Right the rumours of Liverpool's number 7 shirt continue to dominate the internet web forum thingies. Apparently someone was in the LFC shop the other day and saw a huge pile of number 7s in the backroom. We know that a message from high up has ordered the LFC shop staff to order a bulk of the number 7. And this in turn means that a huge signing is about to take place.

The contenders are: Ashley Young, David Beckham, VDV, RVN and Thierry Henry. Or we could say: AY, DB, VDV, RVN and TH. Thierry Henry is the latest name to be linked with a move to Anfield - and this looks a live one. The Frenchman has always said that he would like to return to England (actually I am not sure if he has said that but it fits the story perfectly) and Liverpool would be a perfect destination. Van Nistelrooy is an interesting one too and another rumour sweeping the message boards but you know as well as I do that it won't happen! The other rumour is that SAF will quit soon because there is no money for transfers. Interesting.
