Babel: I don't want to leave
Ryan Babel is ready to fight tooth and nail to ensure his future is an Anfield.
The talented Dutchman has failed to show up since joining Liverpool 26 months ago.
On Saturday, he came off the bench and provided the assist for Fernando Torres to nod home the winner against West Ham at Upton Park.
Despite his good showing, Babel knows he will have to continue proving to manager, Rafa Benitez that he can contribute to the Liverpool cause.
According to The Sun, Babel was quoted as saying: "If I keep working hard then, hopefully, I can get a place back in the starting line-up.
"I'm very happy here and I don't want to leave. Yes, there is a lot of competition for places at Liverpool but that's the same at every top club.
"It was like that at Ajax and isn't a problem for me."
Babel was linked with a move back to his former club, Ajax in the summer with Tottenham Hotspur also reported interested in taking him to White Hart Lane.
