Rafa: Torres is simply priceless
Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has told Fernando Torres' potential suitors that the Spanish hitman is not for sale at any price.
Torres was in typically superb form on Saturday, bagging a sublime hat-trick as Liverpool thumped Phil Brown's Hull City 6-1 at Anfield.
The Spain international's three-goal haul took his Premier League tally for the season to eight in only seven games, and it was his fourth hat-trick since signing from Atletico Madrid.
With several of English football's giants interested in recruiting Torres, Benitez has once again reiterated that he views his star striker as being priceless.
"How much is he worth?" said Benitez. "Well at least £70million, you would say.
"I'm not saying he's the best in the world because he is young and can get better, but of course he is one of the best, and he can still improve if he wants to.
"This year we had some agents acting for other English clubs who were coming to us asking about the price of Torres, with big, big figures, but we said that he's not for sale.
"I would say at this moment in time he is not for sale at any price."
