Evra: Chelsea our main rivals now
Patrice Evra has slighted arch-rivals Liverpool by claiming that beating Chelsea is now more important than winning at Anfield.
The Manchester United left-back was quick to dismiss Liverpool's title credentials in the wake of their 2-0 defeat to Chelsea last Sunday.
Speaking to the Sun, Evra confided that the trip to Stamfod Bridge was more vital to their season hopes than the trip to Anfield.
"Chelsea away is the game I always want to win more than any other," he said.
"If we win there it sends out a message to all the top four.
"There are other important games, such as we need to do well against Liverpool after losing 4-1 at home to them last season.
"But if you ask me to choose one game, I'll pick Chelsea away.
"I like playing Chelsea because it seems I get an assist every game."
United are two points behind leaders Chelsea and four points ahead of Liverpool - and face trips to both Anfield and Stamford Bridge in the space of two weeks at the end of the month.
