Ancelotti dreams of Italian job

Carlo Ancelotti has not ruled out taking over Italy's coaching job in the future.

But the Chelsea manager is not adverse to taking charge of an African side as well.

Talking to the BBC about a possible switch to replace Marcello Lippi, Ancelotti said: "I would like to in the future, but not now. I am Italian, and I would like to coach La Nazionale, but I am not sure if this will be possible one day.

"I would like to coach an African side. The Ivory Coast are a fantastic side for example," Ancelotti explained.

There has been reports from Italy that Lippi will resign from the Italian national team after the World Cup finals in South Africa and become a director at Juventus.

His contract has yet to be renewed and talks have been delayed until after the finals.
