The BPL Numbers Game 09

Here is a review of the Barclays Premier League games played on Saturday and Sunday in numbers.

0 - Manchester United have yet to concede a goal from a set-piece in the league this season.

0 - The number of victories Manchester City have achieved on Wigan's home ground in the league since the Latics moved from Springfield Park in 1999.

1 - Robbie Blake scored Burnley's first away goal in the Premier League after their 3-2 defeat at Blackburn.

1 - Arsenal are the only team (so far) to win by two clear goals in the last round of league games.

2 - Liverpool have lost back-to-back games for the first time in nearly two years. In December 2007, they lost to Reading and Manchester United.

2 - Chelsea have lost for the second successive away game in the league.

2 - Sunderland have now beaten Liverpool twice in 17 league meetings.

3 - Liverpool have lost three successive games in all competitions.

5 - Arsenal have now won their last five league games at the Emirates Stadiums.

5 - Sunderland have won all their last five home games in all competitions.

5 - West Ham have gotten off to their worst BPL start after collecting just five points from eight games.

6 - Aston Villa are now unbeaten in their last six home games in all competitions - won five and drew one.

7 - Blackburn have won six and drew one on their last seven games in all competitions with Burnley.

7 - Everton are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions.

8 - The Portsmouth versus Tottenham game featured three former players on either side: Younes Kaboul, Michael Brown and Kevin Prince Boateng (Pompey) and Jermaine Defoe, Peter Crouch and Niko Kranjcar. Harry Redknapp, former Pompey coach was on the Spurs bench while the ineligible Jamie O'Hara (former Spurs) was in the stands.

9 - Manchester United have won nine out of their last ten league games against Bolton.

9 - Sunderland have scored their first goal against Liverpool after nine hours and ten minutes of league football.

10 - The cost of the beach ball, in pounds, that led to Darren Bent's winning goal against Liverpool. (thanks to Sriram)

10 - Frank Lampard has not scored for Chelsea in their last ten games.

10 - Blackburn have won all their league points at home.

16 - Tottenham have kept just one clean sheet in 16 successive away games in the BPL.

17 - Burnley have conceded 17 goals away from home and have lost all five games.

25 - Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 25 home league games against Birmingham (W17, D8).

25 - Everton are the only team not to have conceded a goal in the opening 25 minutes of a Premier League match this season.

43 - Blackburn claimed all three points in their first Cottonmill league derby against Burnley in 43 years.

75 - Lee Bowyer's goal in the 38th minute for Birmingham meant they have scored before the 75th minute mark for the first time this season.

92 - Blackburn came out tops against Burnley in the 92nd Cotton Mills derby.

100 - Michael Essien made his 100th league start for Chelsea.

100 - Yossi Benayoun, Ryan Babel and Javier Mascherano have all made 100 appearances for Liverpool.

100 - Emmerson Boyce registered his 100th appearance for Wigan.

130 - Fulham celebrated their 130th annivesary with a 2-0 win over Hull City.

198 - Aston Villa's American goalie Brad Friedel made his record 198th consecutive BPL appearance against Chelsea.

200 - Yakubu recorded his 200th English league appearance.
