Wolves vs Aston Villa
Martin O'Neill has no fresh injury or suspension concerns ahead of Aston Villa's clash with Wolves at Molineux. Full-back Luke Young returned to the squad for last weekend's 2-1 victory over Chelsea but failed to make it into the matchday 18 and will be hoping for inclusion this time around. Gabriel Agbonlahor should continue up front alongside John Carew, with Emile Heskey once again likely to start on the bench. Wolves striker Chris Iwelumo returns to the squad after a lengthy absence. The Scottish international has been sidelined for six months with knee ligament damage and then a broken foot. Andrew Surman and Richard Stearman are also back in contention after recent injury lay-offs after a mid-week reserve outing but Stefan Maierhofer is suspended. Teams: Wolves (from): Hennessey, Zubar, Berra, Craddock, Elokobi, Kightly, Edwards, Henry, Halford, Doyle, Ebanks-Blake, Iwelumo, Surman, Stearman, Hahnemann, Keogh, Ward, Jarvis, Castillo. Aston Villa (from): Friedel, Luke Young, Cuellar, Collins, Dunne, Warnock, Milner, Petrov, Sidwell, Ashley Young, Carew, Guzan, Heskey, Delph, Reo-Coker, Shorey, Beye, Gardner, Delfouneso, Albrighton.
Birmingham's defensive duo of Franck Queudrue and Stuart Parnaby are available after injury for the home Barclays Premier League clash with Sunderland on Saturday. Queudrue, who has been converted from left-back into a central defender this season, and right-back Parnaby have been included in the squad after recovering from hamstring problems. Manager Alex McLeish's injury problems are easing with another back-four player in Gregory Vignal set to resume training next week - also after a hamstring setback. But on-loan Sunderland midfielder Teemu Tainio is ineligible to face former Blues boss Steve Bruce's side. Sunderland boss Steve Bruce will welcome back Kieran Richardson after suspension. Richardson missed the 1-0 victory over Liverpool after being sent off at Manchester United. Lee Cattermole is out with a knee ligament injury and John Mensah (calf) is also out, but Kenwyne Jones, who was carried off with a twisted ankle on Saturday, trained yesterday and is expected to be fit, as are Bolo Zenden (hip) and Andy Reid (calf). Teams: Birmingham (from): Hart, Carr, Parnaby, Ridgewell, Roger Johnson, Dann, Queudrue, Larsson, Ferguson, Carsley, Bowyer, McFadden, Jerome, O'Connor, McSheffrey, Phillips, Damien Johnson, Bent, O'Shea, Maik Taylor. Sunderland (from): Gordon, Fulop, Bardsley, Richardson, McCartney, Ferdinand, Turner, Nosworthy, Da Silva, Cana, Reid, Malbranque, Henderson, Zenden, Bent, Jones, Campbell, Murphy, Healy. Everton manager David Moyes finds himself in the middle of an injury crisis ahead of the Barclays Premier League match against Bolton on Sunday. Russian winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is the latest casualty, suffering a thigh problem in the 5-0 defeat by Benfica in the Europa League. Joseph Yobo (head), Leon Osman (ankle) and Leighton Baines (calf) remain doubtful after sitting out the game after being injured following the draw against Wolves at the weekend - but Lucas Neill and John Heitinga are are available again after being ineligible for last night's game. Bolton boss Gary Megson is hopeful Andy O'Brien will be fit for selection. Defender O'Brien should be available to play at the Reebok Stadium after overcoming a groin problem, but striker Johan Elmander remains a doubt having not yet fully recovered from his hamstring injury. Joey O'Brien and Sean Davis are both long-term absentees with knee injuries. Teams: Bolton (from): Jaaskelainen, Al Habsi, Ricketts, Steinsson, Knight, Cahill, A O'Brien, Samuel, Robinson, M Davies, Muamba, Cohen, McCann, Gardner, Taylor, K Davies, Klasnic, Lee. Wigan goalkeeper Chris Kirkland and midfielder Paul Scharner are both doubtful for Saturday's Barclays Premier League match at Burnley. Kirkland dislocated a finger in the second half of Sunday's 1-1 draw against Manchester City - and although he saw out the game, he has yet to train this week. Scharner sustained a hip injury that forced him off after 72 minutes and, like Kirkland, has not participated in any training since. Burnley manager Owen Coyle has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the clash. Winger Fernando Guerrero played the full 90 minutes for the reserves earlier this week and may feature after overcoming his recent hamstring injury. The Clarets are still without long-term absentees Martin Paterson, Chris McCann (both knee) and Jay Rodriguez (ankle). Teams: Burnley (from): Jensen, Caldwell, Mears, Eckersley, Duff, Carlisle, Bikey, Jordan, Alexander, Fletcher, Elliott, Blake, Thompson, Eagles, Penny, Kalvanes, Gudjonsson, Edgar, Easton, Nugent, McDonald, Guerrero. Portsmouth midfielder Michael Brown is suspended for his side's vital Barclays Premier League trip to Hull on Saturday, following his red card against Tottenham. Loan player Jamie O'Hara returns to the side as he was unable to play against his parent club last weekend, but the game comes too soon for Hermann Hreidarsson who is recovering from a foot tendon injury. Papa Bouba Diop and Richard Hughes remain absent with hamstring and hip problems respectively, despite turning out for the reserves in midweek. Record signing Jimmy Bullard could start for Hull at the KC Stadium. The £5million midfielder made his first appearance in nine months as a substitute in Monday's loss at Fulham and then had another run-out in the reserves the following night. Defender Anthony Gardner is also back in contention after two months on the sidelines with a knee injury while captain Nick Barmby has overcome a calf problem. With Richard Garcia nearing fitness after a knee injury, Ian Ashbee (knee) is Hull's only major casualty. Teams: Hull (from): Myhill, McShane, Kilbane, Sonko, Dawson, Barmby, Marney, Zayatte, Geovanni, Hunt, Vennegoor of Hesselink, Ghilas, Mendy, Altidore, Bullard, Gardner, Mouyokolo, Olofinjana, Cousin, Halmosi, Boateng, Fagan, Cooper, Warner, Duke. Manchester City manager Mark Hughes is hopeful skipper Kolo Toure and Craig Bellamy return to the side for Sunday's Barclays Premier League visit of Fulham. Defender Toure and striker Bellamy missed the 1-1 draw at Wigan last Sunday with a heel injury and groin strain respectively. Hughes is definitely without Pablo Zabaleta as the defender serves a one-match ban following his dismissal for two bookable offences at the DW Stadium. Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has several fitness concerns ahead of the match. Simon Davies missed Thursday's draw with Roma but could make the squad after stepping up his rehabilitation from a foot injury. Danny Murphy and Dickson Etuhu have knee injuries, Andrew Johnson is struggling with a shoulder problem, while Kagisho Dikgacoi is still suspended following his sending off at West Ham. Teams: Man City (from): Given, Taylor, Richards, Toure, Lescott, Bridge, Sylvinho, Garrido, De Jong, Barry, Johnson, Wright-Phillips, Ireland, Ball, Weiss, Vidal, Bellamy, Santa Cruz, Petrov, Tevez, Adebayor, Kompany. Andy Wilkinson is primed to return to Stoke's defence for Saturday's Barclays Premier League game at Tottenham as Robert Huth starts a three-match ban. The German defender lashed out at West Ham's Matthew Upson last weekend and Wilkinson, who lost his place after Huth's arrival from Middlesbrough, is eager to deputise. Glenn Whelan could return to Stoke's midfield after his exploits for the Republic of Ireland, but his international team-mate Liam Lawrence is a doubt after missing training with a virus. Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe is suspended for after getting sent off against Portsmouth last weekend. Giovani dos Santos (ankle) and Luke Modric (fractured leg) are on the sidelines for the clash at White Hart Lane.
