Nani has claimed that a Manchester United win at Anfield could deliver a “shattering blow” for the Reds in their quest for a BPL title.

Man United travel to Liverpool in hopes of dealing a fifth straight defeat to the Reds which will increase their lead to ten points over the Merseysiders after ten league games.

Nani is keen on dealing Liverpool a crucial loss, as well as exact revenge for the pair of defeats the Reds dealt to United last season.

"To win at Anfield and leave them ten points behind us would be such a shattering blow for Liverpool - but that's what we want to do," Nani told the Sun.

"We remember losing 4-1 to them at Old Trafford last season and this is the best moment for us to show the other side of the coin.

"It's a great chance for us to gain revenge and to show everyone we are the Premier League champions."

Nani also added that Liverpool would be desperate for a result, putting them under immense pressure. United, on the other hand, will be relaxed for this trip to Anfield.

"And while the pressure is on Liverpool, for many reasons, we go to Anfield with no nerves," he added.

"United are playing with a very positive rhythm at the moment and we want to satisfy our supporters."
