Terry: I can learn a lot from Carlo
John Terry has hailed Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, saying that he is impressed by the Italian tactician’s training methods.
Terry said that he consulted and talked with Ancelotti on numerous occasions in the offseason, trying to pick the brain of one of the best managers in the business.
"I'm always looking to learn and improve and when a manager comes in like Ancelotti I think I can learn an awful lot from him," Terry told The Mirror.
"He's played and managed at the highest level.
"So while we've had some hard times with managers coming and going, I can always look at it as a chance to get my learning cap on when a new man comes in.
"I can do that by talking to him about the players he's worked with," Terry added.
Former Milan manager Ancelotti, in turn, has nothing but praise for the Chelsea skipper. The Blues boss previously stated that the England international could follow in the steps of Italian legend Paolo Maldini.
He said: "The careers of Maldini and that of John Terry are very close in comparison. Not just in terms of their defensive play but in terms of their professionalism."
