Terry loved Didier outburst
Chelsea captain John Terry claims Didier Drogba's infamous Champions League outburst last season was a good thing.
Chelsea captain John Terry has defended Didier Drogba's outburst following the Champions League semi-final with Barcelona and claimed the Ivorian's behaviour illustrated his passion for the club.
Drogba was banned by UEFA after the striker confronted the referee following Chelsea's European exit to eventual champions Barcelona in the semi-final match as Stamford Bridge.
However, Blues skipper Terry says that the Ivorian strikers behavious simply illustrated his passion for the West London club.
Terry said: "Didier loves this club and when we lose a game there is no-one more disappointed than him.
"He shows his anger and frustration.
"People look at when he lost his rag after the game against Barcelona - it's because he cares about the club.
"From a Chelsea point of view, I love the way Didier reacted there."
Drogba came in for severe criticism following his actions, and later apologised for his behaviour after claiming his son helped him understand the negative impact his behaviour had on young fans across the globe.
The powerful striker has been in scorching form this year as his goals have helped propel Chelsea to the top of the Premier League and into the last sixteen of the Champions League.
