No moves for Pato and Aguero

No moves for Pato and Aguero

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that his club will not bring in new players in January.

According to football-italia.net, Ancelotti was asked about Chelsea's transfer plans since their embargo was suspended by CAS.

Alexandre Pato of Milan as well as Sergio Aguero of Atletico Madrid have been widely regarded as Chelsea's top transfer targets.

But Ancelotti, who was speaking to reporters on Monday in Italy, claimed that Chelsea will not be bringing out the chequebook in January.

“Pato is happy and well in Milan,” he said. And when Ancelotti was asked about Aguero, he gave a mixed response as well.

“All clubs follow talented youngsters and he is certainly one, just like Pato,” he added.

“We do have a problem in that we will lose some players to the African Cup of Nations, but I don’t think we’ll sign anyone in January.”
