Vermaelen: I'm not satisfied yet
Arsenal defender believes he can still improve despite a wonderful start to his Arsenal career.
The Belgian defender has been integral to Arsene Wenger's team since his summer move from Ajax Amsterdam.
With five goals to his name already, Vermaelen wants more.
According to the Sunday Mirror, the defender said: "I'm not satisfied yet, there are improvements I can make,
"I am learning from other players and the coaching staff and I want to improve every single day.
"I am very very pleased with my start. But the most important thing is to keep playing like this, and we are still early in a long season."
Vermaelen was also quick to play down thoughts of him becoming a regular goalscorer for the Gunners.
He added: "I'm definitely not worried about scoring - I haven't scored for a few games now anyway.
"For me, and any defender, I am more pleased with a clean sheet than scoring myself."
