Wenger wants new Henry

Twenty year old Nice striker Loic Remy, is within the crosshairs of Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger transfer targets.

The Gunner's gaffer is reportedly looking to boost his attacking options with the Thierry Henry like forward. Gifted with similar abilities the forward has been in contact with the Arsenal French connection according to SunSport.

The free scoring forward revealed: "I often talk about Arsenal with Diaby and Sagna when I am with them in the French team.

"They tell me that when you are at Arsenal you want to stay there for your entire career."

The youngster has already found the net six times in a space of 12 games and has one full cap for the national team.

However Arsenal is not the only big team that has shown interest in the talented forward. AC Milan, Lyon and Bordeaux are keeping tabs on the player.

The striker was part of Lyon but left the French giants 18 months ago for minnows Nice to seek more first team football.

He ended last season with 11 goals after 32 games played.
