Kalou: Title Chelsea's to lose
Salomon Kalou claims that the Premier League title is Chelsea’s provided they keep up their current form.
The Blues' resounding 3-0 thumping of Arsenal on Sunday widened the gap at the top of the BPL table to five points.
With Carlo Ancelotti at the helm, Chelsea have won 12 of their 14 League games, including the most recent five matches.
Kalou is focused on how well Chelsea does, but conceded that Manchester United remain the only threat to them winning the League.
"We've made a good start," he told Sky Sports News.
"It's still a long journey. Manchester are still around.
"We still have to give them respect because they are a great team and keep winning.
"We know that as long as we maintain our performances, like we're doing now, it will be easy."
Chelsea could falter in January when Kalou, Didier Drogba, Michael Essien and John Obi Mikel depart for the African Cup of Nations, but the Ivorian trusts in Chelsea's depth, and believes that the players that remain will fill in well for the absentees.
"It doesn't matter which player plays this year, we keep winning," he continued. "That's the good thing about the team this year.
"I'm sure even if Essien, Didier and Mikel and I go to the African Cup there are players who can step in a do a good job."
