Arsenal winger, Theo Walcott lauded praise on team-mate, Andrey Arshavin's style of play.

Arshavin scored a stunning goal to give the Gunners a 2-1 win at Anfield on Sunday against Liverpool.

The former Zenit St Petersburg playmaker has been in scintillating form since joining the London side and Walcott has grown to become one of his fans.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Walcott said: If you put him in those positions, he is always going to put it away.

"He has got plenty of pace as well. We can frighten defenders at times but also you have to defend well and not always break forward. We have got so many attacking players and Andrey has done it yet again.

"He just seems to be relaxed. There is always a smile on his face when he is playing and to get a goal was very well deserved.

"You could put any goalkeeper in that position and he is never going to make the save.

"It was a fantastic finish,"

Arshavin and Walcott will be crucial to Arsenal's cause in the coming weeks as their chief striker, Robin van Persie is out on a long-term injury.
