Fulham have confirmed Andrew Johnson will be out for the rest of the season after having surgery on his knee.

The former Everton and Crystal Palace striker has made only 13 appearances this season.

"The club can confirm that following knee surgery in Colorado by eminent specialist Dr. Richard Steadman, Johnson will not be available for the remainder of the season," said a statement on Fulham's website.

Johnson's injury is another blow to Fulham manager Roy Hodgson after Clint Dempsey was also ruled out through injury.
