Nouble joins West Brom on loan
West Brom have agreed a deal with West Ham to take Frank Nouble on an initial one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future but will not be required at Upton Park in the near future after Gianfranco Zola bolstered his attacking options. Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo has entered the market for Nouble as a result of Ishmael Miller's enforced absence due to an ankle injury and Jerome Thomas' four-match suspension. He will complete his move when the emergency loan window reopens on Tuesday, although will not be available for Saturday's FA Cup clash at Reading due to his earlier involvement in this season's competition with the Hammers. Nouble, who arrived at West Ham from Chelsea last summer for an undisclosed fee, has certainly caught the Di Matteo's eye. "Frank is an exciting, young player who I am delighted to welcome to the club," he told West Brom's official website. "He can play in any of the three forward positions - down the middle, wide left or wide right - and we hope the next month is a fruitful one for the club and Frank. "His main attributes are that he's powerful, quick and good on the ball but we mustn't forget he is still very young."
