According to reports, the Catalan side and the Arsenal player have agreed personal terms for his move to Barcelona.

According to Catalan sports daily Sport, Barcelona and Cesc Fabregas have shaken on a deal that will see the Arsenal ace join the La Liga champions.

It has been reported that the 23-year-old will sign a five-year deal worth €7 million per season.

But Arsenal have yet to agree on a transfer fee with Barcelona, with boss Arsene Wenger set to hold a meeting with the player later this week. In addition, Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta had also publicly stated that he did not expect the Arsenal captain to join him at the Nou Camp anytime soon.

The Spanish side have sought to have talks with the Arsenal hierarchy over the availability of their captain on numerous occasions, but have had no success so far.
