Spurs' Dervite moves to Villareal

Tottenham misfit Dorian Dervite is set to complete a move to Villarreal.

The 22-year-old made just one senior appearance for Spurs in more than four years at White Hart Lane and they have now agreed a deal for him to join the Spanish side.

Dervite was signed from Lille by former White Hart Lane boss Martin Jol in the summer of 2006, with his only first-team match a Carling Cup tie against Port Vale that November, after which he suffered a serious knee injury.

He spent more than four months on loan at Southend in early 2009 as he failed to earn himself a place in Harry Redknapp's plans.
