Neville has no respect for Man City
Manchester United veteran Gary Neville revealed an even deeper disdain for Manchester City than Liverpool.
The Red Devil captain is well-known for his dislike for Liverpool, having seen them ride roughshed over United while we was growing up.
But the 35-year-old has now found a team even worthy of less respect in his eyes- United's "noisy neighbours", Manchester City.
In reports from the Sun, Neville said: "When I was younger, I was a United fan but Liverpool were winning everything and it was a horrible time.
"It's jealousy, hatred and passion for your own club. In recent years everybody's been 'we all hate Man United' because have been winning", he added.
Neville believes that the Citizens have merely bought their way into the top end of the Premier League, compared to Liverpool and their trophy-laden history.
The player continued: "But I have more respect for Liverpool in a sense of their tradition and their history than I would do some of the other clubs that have been coming on the scene in the last few years, throwing a load of money at it.
