Young, Cleverley set for United return
Manchester United's bid for the Barclays Premier League title looks set to receive a welcome boost by the returns of Ashley Young and Tom Cleverley this weekend.
Both played integral roles in United's explosive start to the season, where they won their opening five league games, including an 8-2 win over Arsenal and a 3-1 triumph over Chelsea.
However, Cleverley was injured in the game against Bolton on September 10 after a late challenge by Kevin Davies, and while he made his return against Aldershot in the Carling Cup last month, he picked up yet another knock four days later against Everton.
Meanwhile, Young has missed United's last three games since picking up a toe injury in training, and was also absent from England's recent friendlies against Spain and Sweden.
Nonetheless, The Sun reports that both players are back to full fitness, and are in line for an automatic return to Sir Alex Ferguson's starting XI for this Saturday's trip to Swansea.
While Ferguson has often refrained from throwing his players immediately back into the fray after a layoff, the fact that United have been unconvincing of late could just prompt him to start both Young and Cleverley.
Since they were hammered 6-1 by Manchester City at Old Trafford, United have kept clean sheets in their last four games, but looked relatively off the pace in recent league outings against Everton and Sunderland.
