Lazio swoop for Rozehnal
Lazio have signed Czech Republic defender David Rozehnal from Newcastle on a permanent deal, the Italian club have confirmed.
Rozehnal, who is currently with the Czech Republic squad at Euro 2008, spent the second half of last season on loan at the Rome club.
A statement on the Lazio website, www.sslazio.it, read: "David Rozehnal is a Lazio player the club announces having concluded the transfer of the player after agreeing terms with English club Newcastle."
Newcastle announced on their website that the club have recouped the £2.9million they paid to Paris St Germain for the player in June 2007.
