Are you sick of the name Cristiano Ronaldo? Well, you are not alone. Bring on Luka Modric and Samir Nasri I say!

Am I the only football fan in the world sick of hearing the name Ronaldo?

All the headlines the past few weeks has been nothing else but Cristiano Ronaldo. Enough already! There are bigger deals happening elsewhere in the Premiership for god sake!

Yes. He is arguably the most exciting player on planet earth right now and it's a pleasure watching him in ever game but seriously, if the guy wants a ‘dream' move, let him go.

And in case you haven't taken notice, some of the world's best young talents will be gracing English soils in the upcoming season.

Juande Ramos has brought the expectation levels at White Hart Lane back up with the signing of two young starlets, Croatia's Luka Modric(US$32.4m) and Mexican wonderkid Giovani Dos Santos(US$9.2m).

Modric was one of the hottest commodities going into the summer with Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal and Internazionale all readying bids for him only to be upstaged by a quick and swift Tottenham offer that was snapped up.

If that is not enough to wet your appetite, throw in Barcelona's Dos Santos who was hailed at one point as the Mexican version of a certain legend, Diego Maradona but was never really given a run-out with Frank Rijkaard's team to make the impression he is capable of.

Arsenal have outbid their bitter rivals Manchester United and Chelsea to land Cardiff City's teenage sensation, Aaron Ramsey(undisclosed fee), who besides having a famous first name is also slated to be one of the upcoming wing wizards in England.

Portugal's No.1 rightback, Jose Bosingwa had made the switch from FC Porto to join Chelsea after a successful Euro 2008 where he showed the world why the Blues shelled out a US$31.8m transfer fee for him.

With Marseille and French winger, Samir Nasri(US$19m) expected to sign for Arsene Wenger's team in the next few days, another speedster is on the way.

So for those of you who are bemoaning the fact that the magnificent No.7 at Old Trafford may be moving to the Primera Liga to play for Real Madrid, take a look around the transfer tables and you will realise the number of wingers with the speed, guile and trickery on show in the coming season is bigger than before.

And to cap it all off, Frank Ribery (Chelsea), Andrei Arshavin (Arsenal), David Villa (Tottenham), Deco (Chelsea), Ronaldinho (Manchester City), Rafael van der Vaart (Man United) and Pablo Aimar (Newcastle) are all said to be on their way to join the already star-studded line-ups of the English Premier League.

The best league in the world may I add.
