As Europe's top 16 vied for the Euro 2008 title, ESS's star pundits also slugged it out in the Pundits' Accuracy League.

ESPN STAR Sports' football pundits Steve McMahon, Jason McAteer, Noel de Lima and the espnstar.com team had a ball of a time drawing up predictions for all 31 games.

In the end, the experience and foresight of McMahon and McAteer shone through as both ex-professionals topped the mini-league.

Both former Liverpool players predicted 55% of the games accurately.

The espnstar.com team was not far behind with 52% while ESS commentator and football administrator Noel de Lima was fourth with 48%.
