Lampard says yes to Inter

Frank Lampard, who is worried about losing his place to Deco has sensationally revealed his approval of an Inter move.

Lampard was quizzed by Corriere Dello Sport as to whether he will be playing under Jose Mourinho again.

"Inter? Yes, probably," said Lampard.

Since Jose Mourinho took over at Inter Milan - the Italian club has been trying to bring his former midfield commander to the San Siro. It is also no surprise that Lampard himself fancies a move to Inter so that he can reunite with his former boss, whom he holds in high regards.

Inter president Massimo Moratti is also a huge admirer of the England midfielder and gave a big hint that the deal has progressed beyond just the rumour mill when asked if Lampard was joining the blue half of Milan.

"Yes, but we are calm, there is no rush," said the Oil magnate.

Lampard is currently holidaying with his family in Italy and is reportedly heading back to London via Milan to complete his switch to the club, with a deal potentially to be sealed as early as next week.
