Atletico Madrid's Kun Aguero picked Argentine teammate Lionel Messi as a better player than Brazil's Ronaldinho.

As the rage goes on about who the best footballer on this planet is, rising Argentine star, Aguero had his own version of it as he made known his thoughts on the two superstars.

"Nowadays, Messi is better than Ronaldinho. He is the best footballer in the world right now," Agüero told Argentine newspaper, Olé.

"And I'm not the only who says so. Everyone who has seen him play says so too," the Atlético Madrid man added.

Aguero, who has been hitting the front and back pages of the newspapers this year with his brilliant performances for Atletico and his ongoing relationship with Diego Maradona's daughter will be hoping o surpass Messi as the number one Argentine player in Spain this season.

Forming a telepathic understanding with Uruguayan striker, Diego Forlan, the two will be hoping to help their club challenge for the Primera Liga title against Barcelona and Real Madrid.
