Barca slap price tag on Toure
Primera Liga giants Barcelona have finally decided to let Yaya Toure leave the Catalan club - but only at a price.
The defending midfielder has been linked with a move to Arsenal during pre-season and Juventus are understood to be interested as well.
According to Tuttosport, the Ivory Coast international will be made available at US$13million (€10m).
Toure has not been in new Barca boss Josep Guardiola's plans this season and it is rumoured that the pair fell out after a series of rows. The 25-year-old is allegedly unhappy with the current situation and could ask to move on when the transfer market re-opens for the winter session.
Arsenal's Arsene Wenger may be tempted to make a bid for the player to add more steel in his light-weight midfield when the transfer window reopens.
Toure's elder brother Kolo who is an established defender at Arsenal, may help sway Yahya's decision to head to London.
Meanwhile, there were also suggestions that Juventus' representatives had already approached the player's agent and are allegedly willing to make him a bumper offer of around US$5.3m per season.
Earlier this week, CEO Jean-Claude Blanc has stated that the Bianconeri will probably return to the drawing board in the new year to try and reel in new blood, but much will depend on how Juve perform until Christmas and if coach Claudio Ranieri will be able to turn things around after a dismal start to the campaign.
Juventus missed out on Inter's midfielder Dejan Stankovic this summer, due to heavy protests from the supporters, while a move for Spanish international Xabi Alonso also fell through at the 11th hour.
And the Bianconeri eventually turned to Danish international Christian Poulsen who has yet to settle down at the Stadio Olimpico and has failed to impress thus far.
