Txiki Begiristain has stated that Josep Guardiola will decide the fate of Bojan Krkic in the Barcelona squad.

Bojan has been linked to other clubs for a season-long loan after it was revealed that he would be agreeable to leave the Nou Camp to gain some valuable first-team experience.

Several BPL clubs have joined the clubs in Spain in considering a move for the young striker.

Begiristain has usually been the man to decide on the personnel moves La Blaugrana make in his role as technical secretary, but he has deferred to his head coach in this case.

"We have received calls asking about the situation of Bojan but it is still not decided," he told Sky Sports. "The opinion of Guardiola is the key."

Bojan has stated that he would prefer to stay at Barcelona, but his chances have been limited under Guardiola this term having previously enjoyed more time in the side during Frank Rijkaard's tenure.
