Barca planning summer swoop for Cesc
Current Arsenal captain Francesc Fabregas could be set for a summer reunion with boyhood club Barcelona.
The rumour mill in Spain has churned up a report that Barca are interested in bringing back Fabregas, who left the Nou Camp at the tender age of 16. La Blaugrana are keen to seal the deal as soon as possible, before the midfield dynamo's head is turned by Real Madrid and their new president after their elections.
Barcelona are considering letting Fabregas play another year at the Emirates Stadium, before summoning him back to the Nou Camp. They could even try to get him to move this offseason.
The only obstacle to this move is the Champions League final next week, which has the club's full attention at the moment. The Catalans will start talks as soon as the season is over.
It remains to be seen just how interested the player would be to rejoin the Catalan club within the aforementioned timespan, although he has stated that he aims to play in the Primera Division at some point.
