Man United have not bid for Valdes
Victor Valdes’ agent, Gines Carvajal, has dismissed reports linking his client to BPL giants Manchester United.
Valdes has also been rumoured to be talking to AC Milan, along with a hosts of top clubs in Europe, but the speculation has been rubbished by his agent as well.
"We don't have any offers and nor are we going to listen to any, wherever they come from," Carvajal told Catalan radio station RAC 1. "Victor has a year left on his contract and he owes it to Barcelona."
Carvajal insists that the Barcelona stopper is loyal to the Catalonian giants, despite having less than a year left on his current deal.
"We don't want to listen to anything which will distract us from the idea of renewing at Barcelona," Valdes' agent went on. "Our desire is that the situation sorts itself out. As we still have a lot of time, that's where we are."
Despite reiterating that Valdes' future lies with La Blaugrana, Carvajal did admit that there have been some disagreements between the negotiating parties involved in the deal.
"It's complicated, there are differences, because if there weren't then we would have already renewed," he continued.
"Our desire is to continue negotiating. On our part, we are not breaking up any talks and Barca have not told me that they are either."
